A senior Political Science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Dr Samuel Adu Gyamfi has described the election of the current national officers of the ruling NPP, as an internal referendum which sought to reject the leadership of President Akufo-Addo.

Fundamentally they’ve shown that they need a change and I’m thinking the change really intends that assuming today they will do a mandate on their own leader regarding whether he ought to proceed or suspend for someone else to come, it would conflict with the sitting president.”


“The majority rules government we are rehearsing is passing on to us individuals who need to see a formative vote based system. Thus assuming that an administration comes to power and that administration isn’t performing, that’s what we anticipate assuming that decisions and governmental issues is science, individuals will cast a ballot against that administration. Dr Adu Gyamfi noticed the improvement means that despite the fact that they can’t wash their grimy cloth out in the open, they’re totally sickened with the new development in the country.
